A Retrospective on Our Forty Years

Established in 1986 by Mehmet Gün, Gün + Partners proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Beyond our institutional evolution, these four decades embody the collective journey of our people. Many who joined us as interns or junior associates have grown alongside the firm—taking on broader responsibilities, mentoring new talent, and today shaping our executive leadership.

Our institutional strength rests on collective wisdom, anchored by a merit-based, transparent career model, a dedicated professional management team, and our proprietary GÜNCE software. This structural rigor has been recognized through the Deloitte Best Managed Companies award and the Great Place to Work® certification.

Throughout our 40-year history, our vision has extended beyond legal practice to transforming the broader judicial ecosystem. To this end, we pioneered the establishment of the Better Justice Association and the Istanbul Arbitration Association (ISTA). Reaffirming our commitment to responsible governance, we signed the UN Global Compact, measured our greenhouse gas emissions under the ISO 14064-1 standard, and published our inaugural sustainability report.
