DPO Club Session 02 Was Hosted by Gün + Partners
We hosted DPO Club Session 02: Liability of E-Commerce Platforms Following the Constitutional Court Decision, organized by Data Privacy Türkiye, at Gün + Partners.
During the session, liability of e-commerce platforms following the Constitutional Court’s annulment decision published in the Official Gazette dated 2 June 2026 was discussed from the perspectives of platform law, the liability limits of intermediary service providers, legal risk and operational compliance in marketplace structures, and advertising and consumer law.
Our partner Begüm Yavuzdoğan Okumuş participated as a speaker at the event, where n11 Legal & Compliance Director Attorney İrem Mete Kalkanoğlu, Trendyol Legal Manager Attorney Tuğçe Çalkap Yer, and Erdem Biçer, Regulatory and Advertising Law Consultant at Kaşlıoğlu Law Firm and Former Head of Department at the Advertising Board, also shared their views. The session was moderated by Attorney Arif Candemir from Data Privacy Türkiye.
