Talat is a managing associate in Gün + Partners and he has been working for the firm since 2011. Talat has been specialized on intellectual property (IP) with special focus on anti-counterfeiting, trademarks, designs, copyrights and business crime and anti-corruption practices.
Talat advises corporate clients on IP and criminal law. He has been practicing IP and criminal litigation since 2011 for a wide range of foreign and domestic clients; particularly in the fields of trademarks and industrial designs, unfair competition, anti-counterfeiting, investigation, IP prosecution and copyrights. He has been involved in numerous anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy campaigns and civil litigation cases mostly with preliminary injunction requests involving all aspects of IP rights.
He also has a special focus on customs IP protection against counterfeit goods being exported, imported and in transit.
Talat also is a part of our team of major business crimes and anti-corruption. He has been involved some major projects and cases in this area.
